Cedar Beef comes from a small family farm located in the traditional territories of the Snuneymuxw First Nation, at the edge of the Nanaimo River Estuary in beautiful Cedar, BC. All three generations of the family help to run the farm, which provides the opportunity to live close and stay connected to the land and people they love.

Having farmed this location for 30 years, Cedar Beef is determined to steward a fertile, healthy land base to sustain their beef cattle and the abundance of wildlife that depend on the farm’s rich grasslands. The farm’s Simmental-Red Angus cattle are born on the farm and live in a low stress, natural environment. They are free to roam lush, fertile, highly nutritious forage pastures throughout the grazing season and in winter are supplemented with homegrown grass silage.
