Description
Downey Farm is a lovely peaceful rural pastoral 20-acre farm located in North Saanich, in the southern part of Vancouver Island. The farm has a horse boarding facility, and is currently giving a home and caring for horses in their senior years. As of recent years, Downey Farm has planted a market garden. Vegetables grown are garlic, tomatoes, peppers, squash, cucumbers, beans, beets, watermelon, pumpkins, kale, cherry tomatoes and many more each passing year. Downey Farm has a roadside farm stand at property gates.
