Description
Certified organic blueberries in the heart of the Alberni Valley. Avalon Farm, in the Sproat Lake area of Vancouver Island, is surrounded by beautiful forest, nestled in the last remaining meadows of historic Stirling Farm, started in the 1800s. The soil, mainly ancient, drained peat bog, is perfect for blueberries – and our berries thrive in their pristine environment. We use absolutely no chemical fertilizers, fungicides, pesticides, or insecticides. Blueberry season opens in July. Berries are available at the farmstand or u-pick.
