Description
Black Dirt Farm is a family farm with chickens, an orchard, berry patches, an herb and vegetable garden, and a small field for leisure. The farm makes jam, salsa, pickles, garlic oil and other preserves from local ingredients.
Denise McMorris is a certified clinical herbalist who makes many products with local ingredients including tinctures, teas, balms and much more. The farm produces many culinary and medicinal herbs, including valerian, elecampane, St. Johns Wort, yarrow, borage, figwort, licorice, meadowsweet, rue, feverfew, and catnip, in addition to the herbs listed below.
