Description
Fruit Forest Farm has over 400 apples trees, with varieties for fresh eating, juicing, baking and cider making. The farm offers seasonal u-picks for strawberries and apples, and sells eggs. Hatching eggs (fertile eggs for incubators or under broody hens/ducks) are also available.
Fruit Forest Farm provides an open environment to learn about organic gardening, orchard management, raising and pasturing poultry, and natural farming practices. Learn and harvest your way through gorgeous flowers, tree fruit, berries, garlic, and poultry. Fruit Forest uses ducks and chickens foraging below to grow their fruit trees. They eat pests, and fertilize at the same time. Garlic and daffodils line the tree rows, with clover (a nitrogen fixer which also feeds the chickens) as a cover crop between rows.
